SDCC 2014
We finally have some information about the official Korra panel at SDCC 2014. Details in Bryan's tumblr post but we'll post some brief information.

Friday, July 25th
11.15am - 12.15pm (PT)
Ballroom 20

Guests include Mike DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko, Janet Varney (voice of Korra), Seychelle Gabriel (voice of Asami), David Faustino (voice of Mako), Mindy Sterling (voice of Lin Beifong) and John Michael Higgins (voice of Varrick).

A new Book 3 episode will be aired along with "other cool sneak peeks". According to Bryan, there will be three signings for Korra at SDCC. We'll make a post on the signing once we know more.
Two new TLOK episodes every Friday from 11th July 2014

According to, Nickelodeon's official Twitter confirmed that two new episodes of The Legend of Korra will air every Friday from 11th July 2014 at 8pm/7c.

The Toonzone website also confirms this as four new episodes are in the line-up.

Friday 11th July 2014:
8:00PM - The Legend of Korra 204 - In Harm’s Way
8:30PM - The Legend of Korra 205 - The Metal Clan

Friday 18th July 2014:
8:00PM - The Legend of Korra 206 - Old Wounds
8:30PM - The Legend of Korra 207 - Original Airbenders

You might be wondering why the episodes are labeled with the number "2" at the beginning instead of "3" since it's Book 3. As mentioned by Bryan two years ago, that is because Books 1 & 2 are considered one season while Books 3 & 4 are the second season. Hence why the episode numbers from Book 3 onwards will start with 2.

It's a little confusing but here on ASN, we'll just number them according to the Book number. ;)
The Legend of Korra games from Platinum Games & Webfoot Technologies coming out this year

Korra game
IGN recently announced that Platinum Games will be developing a third-person combat game for The Legend of Korra! It is slated to be released in the fall on the PC Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.

Tim Hedrick, one of the writers who have written for the original series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, as well as The Legend of Korra will be writing the story for this game and it takes place between Book Two: Spirits and Book Three: Change.

As for game play, it it appears that players would control Korra and use all four elements in combat. I wonder if there is an ability to activate Korra's Avatar State, that would be quite intriguing.

Also, the cover art embedded in this post is just a concept art and is one of the three concept arts that we can get to vote on the official Legend of Korra Facebook page. Just select which cover that suits you best and hit the "like" button. The cover with the most likes would probably be chosen as the official cover when the game is released.

In addition to this combat game, Webfoot Technologies is developing another TLOK game on the Nintendo 3DS which would be coming out this year too. According to the article, this game would be turn-based strategy and "will focus on tactically maneuvering Korra and her allies on the battlefield." Sounds like a game of chess to me but I seriously doubt it would be like that.

Do the games sound interesting to you? Would you buy them when they come out? Feel free to join us for discussion in the forums. :)
