Book 1: Air

Summary: After mastering waterbending, earthbending and firebending, Korra travels to Republic City to start her airbending training with Tenzin, Avatar Aang's youngest son. There she gets involved in the sport of pro-bending, and encounters an anti-bending revolution led by the mysterious Amon.

Book 2: Spirits

Summary: Korra has now mastered all four bending disciplines as well as the Avatar State, but she still needs to work on her spirituality. Meanwhile, a conflict between the Water Tribes puts her in a difficult position. Along the way, we learn about the origin of the Avatar cycle, and Korra needs to prevent the world from being thrown into a long era of darkness.

Book 3: Change

Summary: The world has undergone a massive spiritual shift. Some people who previously had no bending powers suddenly develop airbending abilities -- including a mysterious man named Zaheer who, along with three other powerful benders, once tried to kidnap a young Avatar Korra and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals. The Air Nation is reborn, but at great cost to the Avatar.

Book 4: Balance

Summary: The final season of The Legend of Korra, following the events of Book 3. Three years later, Korra still hasn't fully recovered, physically or mentally, from her battle with the Red Lotus. Her family and friends, along with the rest of the world, seem to be moving on, but Korra needs to find her own way.
